Notifications & General Settings
Configure how and when you want to be notified about assessment results, account changes, and customize your ConfigCobra experience.
Open ConfigCobra AppNotification Settings
Settings for notifying you about important events in ConfigCobra. Configure Windows notifications for real-time alerts and email notifications for comprehensive updates about assessment runs, user changes, permission modifications, and other account events.
Log in to ConfigCobra
Access the ConfigCobra application using your credentials.
Log in at app.configcobra.com using your credentials.
Navigate to Settings
Go to the Settings section to configure your notification preferences and account options.
Go to the Settings page in the main navigation menu.
Configure account settings
Customize your account appearance and preferences in the Account Settings section.
Under Account Settings, you can:
- Select custom color themes to personalize your ConfigCobra interface
Configure notification preferences
Enable Windows and email notifications to stay informed about assessment results and account changes.
Under Preferences, you can turn on the following notification options:
- Windows Notifications – You will get notified in your Windows notification center if an ad hoc scan finished
- Email Notifications – Notifies you about:
Assessment runs (scheduled and manual)
User changes (added user, deleted user)
Permission changes
And other important account events

Receive instant desktop notifications in your Windows notification center when ad hoc assessments complete. Perfect for immediate alerts without checking your email.
You'll be notified when:
Ad hoc scan finishes
Assessment completes
Real-time updates
Email Notifications
Get comprehensive email updates about all important events in your ConfigCobra account, including assessment results, user management, and permission changes.
You'll be notified when:
Assessment runs complete (scheduled and manual)
Users added or removed
Permission changes
Account events
Account Settings & Customization
Personalize your ConfigCobra experience by selecting custom color themes that match your preferences. The theme you choose will be applied across the entire application interface.
